NFL Punt, Pass & Kick
The Old River Parent Teacher Club is hosting an NFL Punt Pass & kick Competition on September 20th at old river School 30 Learning Lane, Brentwood! Registration is at 12:30 with the competition starting at 1:30! Boys and girls 8-15 are welcome to compete and there is no fee to participate
The Old River Parent Teacher Club will be selling food and there will be games and activites for younger children to help raise money to save the school.

The school year has started and ORPTC is continuing to raise money to keep the school open and help support the many needed programs during these tough economic times. There is an easy, no cost, way you can help.

OLD RIVER REMAINS OPEN
The ORPTC has raised over $50,000 in two months and the Knightsen School District voted last night to keep the school open!!! The Parent Teacher Club will continue to raise money to meet our $75,000 goal!
The Black Diamond Kids Center fundraiser this Saturday has been cancelled!
Don't forget to get your car washed this Saturday at the Shops @ Fairview from 9-2pm for $10!!

End of the Year Fundraisers
Just a couple of fundraisers before Summer Break:
We are selling Carl's Gourmet Seasonings: A box of 5 spices (4oz.) for $12. We are asking families to volunteer to sell 5 boxes each from now until the end of school. If you are willing, please pick up boxes in the office. The boxes are great for Father's Day gifts and upcoming summer barbecues!!
This Saturday 5/30:
From 9-2pm there is a Carwash at the Shops at Fairview (corner of Fairview and Balfour). We are preselling tickets for $10!
Saturday night we are having Kids Night Out at Black Diamond Kids Center from 4-9pm. For $25 you get 5 hours of supervised daycare with games, activities and pizza for dinner for your kids, plus parents get a night off! You do not have to be an ORE student to attend so please invite friends and family to join you. All children 4 and up are welcome! Registration forms are available in the office or at Black Diamond Kids Center!!
If you are looking for life, auto or homeowners insurance you can get a free no obligation price quote from Liberty Mutual and ORE gets $10 for every referral!

Parents,
We need your help. Raising $75,000 in the next month may seem unattainable, so to make this more manageable we are asking each parent of a child at Old River School to notify family, friends and businesses they frequent to ask for a tax deductible donation to save the school. If every parent could raise $600, we could raise enough money to save our school. We have form letters available to use, please go to the schools website and click on the ORPTC page for a copy!
The rummage sale this Saturday has been cancelled.
This Thursday is our fundraiser at Chuck E. Cheese for 3-9pm!!
May 2nd we will be having a tri tip dinner and silent auction at Deluna Ranch from 5-9pm. Tickets will be $20 and children tickets (for a hotdog plate) will be available for $5 at the door. We are asking for parents to each sell 10 tickets to the fun event! Please help!

Save the Otters Rummage Sale
The Old River Parent Teacher Club is sponsoring a Rummage Sale at Old River Elementary School. All proceeds will go towards the Save Old River Fund, to help keep Old River Elementary School open next year.

To reserve a spot, please submit the application with your payment of $25 to Old River Parent Teacher Club (ORPTC) at the Old River School office. Sellers keep all proceeds of their sales (however, any additional monetary donations will be gratefully accepted).
ORPTC will be advertising this event in the community. You will be provided a space to sell only. If you would like to bring tables, chairs, etc. to display your merchandise, feel free. Refreshments will be sold by the ORPTC during the event.
